Tracy Carpenter was born in Long Island, New York, where her Italian family’s passion for food was a big influence on her. Her teenage years took her to Dearborn, MI, where she learned about the amazing Lebanese and Polish food the area has to offer. Los Angeles has been her home for most of her adult life, and it’s where she has explored and fallen in love with Mexican, Indian, and Korean food, along with many other cuisines that pop up in such a diverse city. She loves mixing local, seasonal ingredients with flavors from around the world and cooking meals for her family and friends. She believes that food is more than a meal – it brings people together – and she loves sharing her passion and inspiring others to get excited about what they are eating! The tiny cook with the Big Appetite lives in Venice, California with her husband, 2 foodie kids, and 2 pugs (who also love food).
“It’s more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?” – Winnie the Pooh
